The project results will be:

· E-learning material which covers basic knowledge about statistics and analysis of empirical data. This will be produced in an online version (text, graphics and animations on the Web) and an offline version (files which can be downloaded). The ILIAS learning platform of project coordinator FIM will probably be used for both.

· E-learning material which illustrates case studies and examples in which the content of the course is needed. The illustrations describe the case, show the problem, refer to basic knowledge needed in this case and offer the right solution.

· A guide for classroom sessions. It will consist of two parts:

(1) It gives an outline of which order different topics should be presented in, and which learning material can be referred to for which topic.

(2) As the classroom sessions should serve the individualization of learning, it will offer a guide on how the existing cases, cases contributed by learners, and questions asked by the learners can be covered during classroom sessions in a way that integrates them into the whole course.
