The CAMEO project (Comparison and Analysis of Mentoring in EurOpe) intends to carry out a systematic study that draws a complete picture of the role of "the mentor", the relative functions assigned to this figure as well as quality assurance standards of mentor programmes and different Member States with different experiences due to different approaches.

Indeed the aim of the proposal is to analyse the definition and development of the "mentor" role in different partner countries, investigate the contexts where he/she works, provide a professional description whilst revealing the existing differences in terms of meaning and duties between each partner country, in order to compare the evolution of this figure at European level.
